A friend of mine posted a song/video that hit rather close to home. I have enjoyed the music of Rob Thomas before, and what I have taken from this, makes me like him even more. Thank you for posting it, honey.
As she wrote: Rob Thomas' wife has lupus, so he knows how hard it can be for a caregiver to watch a person they love suffering when there's nothing that can be done to make it better. I've had nights like this--I'm sure every person reading this with a chronic illness has as well. If you know someone who is the caregiver in one of these relationships, give them a hug or a fistbump or something. Let them know they have friends who care about them and what they are going through after hours."
The video: Her Diamonds
And my other thank you: dch4. There are days I know you stand by me, helpless to do anything, but to comfort me. I know it is hard to feel that there is nothing you can do. You presence in my life helps and I am grateful for it, even if I don't say anything. Thank you for everything you have done, for everything you do and for being my rock. I love you.

I couldn't make this up if I tried. . .Orange you glad I posted this? Not one, but two rare orange lobsters surface http://www.seacoastonline.com/articles/20090705-NEWS-907050315
They might not be red, white and blue, but two orange crustaceans at a Route 1 lobster pound are causing a stir this Fourth of July weekend.
Jeremy Mirick, co-owner of the pound at the York Fitness Center, has two orange lobsters in the tank.
The female, which earned the moniker "Orangina" when it came in on Friday, June 26, and the male, which arrived the next day and is unnamed, look as though they just emerged from a steamer pot. But they're definitely alive and kicking.
Mirick intends to keep them that way. They're not for sale among the 400 pounds of greenish-brown lobsters Mirick expects to sell this holiday weekend. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Well, it was bound to happen. I've known this little chipmunk for a good 4 or 5 years and lord knows how old he was then. Chipmunks in the wild usually don't live for that long. I think it was in part because I made sure he had sunflowers, fruit and other snackies. This year I noticed he was getting really gray, although he still moved pretty fast.
But a little while ago, he didn't move fast enough when I let the dogs out. Phoebe went right for him. I got her to drop him, but he was gone. And I can't yell at her. It's her instinct to kill little animals like that.
I called Chris and he came home to help me bury Chippy. He had a good, long life and I had fun teaching him to sit in my hand and on my shoulder.
RIP my little Chippy.
